This gi is definitely 8oz. There are tons of gis out there that are much lighter. The seams are all reinforced and the pants have a gusset for great mobility. This gi also comes with a white belt -so you don’t have to buy one separate. Thought this gi was well made and durable. Perfect for training.

It was advertised as a medium weight uniform but it is a cheap light weight and had I known this I would not have bought it.
